The answers to the five (5) questions that <br />you asked in your letter dated 6 June 1980 (attached) <br />follow: <br />1. The "1973 Adams County Zoning Maps" indicate that <br />Parcel 6 is zoned Flood Control (F.C.). The "1978 <br />Zoning Pfaps" indicate that the subject Parcel is zoned <br />F.C. After reviewing the "1980 Zoning Diaps", it is <br />evident that Parcel 6 is zoned A-3 with a Mineral Con- <br />servation (M.C.} Overlay. That Overlay is explained in <br />the attached data. On 21 November 1978 the Adams County <br />Planning Commission held a public hearing (notice <br />attached) to delete Section 3.600 - which are the Flood <br />Control and D7ineral Conservation Districts of the 1975 <br />Adams Count Zoning Regulations (copy attached). On <br />the same day, Flood Control and Mineral Conservation <br />Overlay Zone Districts were adopted (see attached legal <br />notice and Planning Commission Resolution). The Board <br />of County Commissioners adopted by Resolution on 8 January <br />1979 the recommendation of the Planning Commission which <br />resulted in a zoning change for the subject property <br />(see attached legal notice and Board of County Commis- <br />sioners' Resolutions). Underlying zoning reverted to <br />conformity with zoning for surrounding property, i.e., <br />adjacent property zoning was imparted for parcels with- <br />in the Overlay areas. <br />2. No posting was required - legal noticesfulfill County <br />notification requirements. <br />
