The irrigation pattern on the lower portion
of this area is interrupted for the duration of the project. However,
the total area disrupted at the truck dump site is less than 3 acres.
Haul Road
The haul road skirts the edge of irrigated farmland and disrupts less
than 2 acres of it. In those areas where the haul road crosses
existing irrigation canals and ditches, culverts have been provided to
ensure the continued operation of the irrigation system.
Kaiser-Sieves Ditch
The Kaiser-Siever Ditch, located in the vicinity of the loadout, will
be inspected by representatives of Snowmass and Sievers Ranch and
Development during the irrigation season when requested by the Sievers
Ranch representative.
If the concrete ditch should fail, Snowmass would commence repairing
the ditch within four hours of being notified of any problems with the
ditch and a joint inspection with representatives of Snowmass and
Sievers Ranch and Development to determine the action to be taken.
Water could be put in the ditch a maximum of twelve hours after
construction begins. Construction details are on Drawing D-4-21.
Snowmass will insure that the structure installed by Snowmass will be
maintained in a functional manner until the Division releases bond on
4-140
