I was out
of the country when your letter arrived, and have dust recently
returned, hence my delay in responding.
We, in the Common Sense Resource League, appreciate your time and
effort in preparing such a lengthy reply to our inquiry about the
tailings situation at San Luis. It helped us to learn the
abatement requirements you imposed, and it was reassuring to see
the cooperation you received from Battle Mountain Gold Company in
correcting the situation.
If I read the last status report of February 24, 1993 correctly,
it appears that all the abatement requirements you imposed have
been satisfied or are in the process of being accompli:•hed
satisfactorily.
Again thank you for you help.
Sir~erely,
~e' 4 ~~
9 /~ ~~
Geo~f'J.
