A revision will be required for the Lorencito <br />Canyon Mine permit if an extension is granted. A revision to the Picketwire Processing <br />permit should be submitted immediately if the currently approved ownership and control <br />information has changed <br />7) Provide a timeframe for responses to the pending Lorencito Canyon Mine Midterm review. <br />8) Discuss the status of any coal sales contracts to be implemented if the Lorencito Mine is <br />activated. <br />In conclusion, while we support and encourage continued coal mine operations in the Purgatoire <br />Valley, we must also implement the requirements for timely reclamation and adequate bonding. <br />Please provide the above information by November 24, 2000, so that we can make a reasonable <br />determination in accordance with Rules 2.01.5(2)(a) and (b).
