Siegrist: <br /> <br />III IIIIIIIIIIIIIIII <br />At the Ikcember 1S, 1900 Board meeting, the Mined Land P.eclamation Board ruled <br />that Siegrist Construction Company must submit an amendment to the above permit <br />to include all. operatio::e relsting to subject activities; and, that surety b~ <br />examined to make sure it is adequate. The Board also requested to be updated <br />on the situation at the January 28-29, 1981 Board meeting. Eased on a latter <br />from Ai111aa Yearaley, (General Project Manager - Siegrist Construction Co.) <br />dated January 9,.1981, and from related phone conversations with you, it appears <br />that some cnnfve~on remains ue to the extent of the exioting permitted lands, <br />and lands requiring amendment. <br />Tha original pemit (Erhibit A and included maps) indicates the present permitted <br />area. All areas outaido of Exhibit A which were disturbed by past Siegrist <br />Construction Co. activities era not presently permitted and require amendment. <br />This includes: <br />s. Lm:ds disturbed on the County properey to the north of the permit area; <br />b. Disturbed lands on the west bank of the South Platte River; and, <br />c. All disturbed portions of the South Platte River and disturbed portions <br />of the east bank of this river, excluding 474.22 feet of the east bank <br />(as illustrated is Eahibit A end related maps of the existing permit). <br />If this dons not meet with your understanding of the Board order, or of the <br />situation at hand, pleaea contact ma so the matter can ba brought belore the <br />Board at the Lima of the January update. Tha Board mould then r~atify or differ <br />with the Staff's opinion at that lima. If the Staff's understanding of the <br />situation ie yang, the Board would advise the Staff as to the appropriate <br />treatment. <br />
