In it, you referred
to the Hart Rok Buena Vista Pit as needing a revision of the
map of the affected land. It is the Salida main plant pit
that we need to amend. I am enclosing a rough, revised map
of the Salida pit, permit No. 56-77-197.
This map shows the operation as it actually exists. The
original material done for Don Long by Aroodward and Clyde
and submitted in August of 1977, did not reflect the operation
correctly.
The new operators intend to go about mining the deeded acreage
in Section 7 as I have depicted on the enclosed map. Please
let me know what has to be done to move the permit area and if
my rough map is acceptable. In reviewing the data compiled
by Woodward and Clyde, on water, soil, vegetation, and wild-
life, information would appear to be applicable to the location
as we are moving the permit area only by about 1600 feet to
the west.
I am leaving on June 5th to spend some time in Alaska. Could
you call me and give me whatever information I need this week?
I will have to turn over handling of the matter to the new
operators or else table the matter until I return in August.
Thanks again for taking care of our permit problems so promptly.
S~ oerely,
James Watson
Sales Associate
JW/cr
enclosures
LAND • RESIDENTIAL • COMMERCIAL
