'Ae <br />have renamed these mines the Golden Eagle (formerly Maxwell) and the New Elk (formerly <br />Allen). <br />Soon we will be sending requests for transfer of the various permits which the Mined <br />Land Reclamation Division has issued to CF&I Steel Corporation concerning these two <br />operations to Wyoming Fuel Company. <br />On January 25, 1978 CFdcI Steel Corporation obtained Development and Extraction <br />Mining Permit No. 77-375 to operate an underground open face refuse dump at the ,511en <br />Mine. Also on January 25, 1978 CFdcI Steel Corporation obtained Development and <br />Extraction Mining Permit No. 77-374 to operate an underground open face refuse dump at <br />the Maxwell [vline.
