Lang
Division Director
As you know, Sun Coal Company is responsible for accomplishing reclamation of the
Meadows No. 1 Mine. Reclamation of the site is described in detail in both the approved
permit application and in the Division's Findings of Compliance. If there is a particular
portion of tfie reclamation plan which you do not understand, please contact us and we will
attempt to clarify that section for you.
You have many times expressed the concerns which are contained in your correspondence
of February 25, 1993. The Division has attempted over the years to address these
concerns to the extent possible. As a landowner, you are notified of any revisions or
modifications to the approved reclamation plan. We will ensure that this process will
continue.
Please contact Larry Routten of my staff should you have questions or comments.
Sincerely,
~-
/ ~ ~-
/~j
Steven G.
