Reporting Period September 2, 1997 -September 7, 1997
4
Shaft Site #3: As of 9/7, approximately eleven benches have been completed using top
down construction methods. All benches except the top two have been excavated into hard
sandstone rock. Slopes are dry and stable. Further field modifications, consisting of
reorientation of the open channel drainage paths for stormwater control, have been made as
the site has been cleared and graded in order to better match the natural topography. Ditch
and culvert lengths will be less than previously anticipated. As-built drawings will be
forwarded to CDMG staff once the site is completed.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at (970) 929-2207.
Sincerely,
~'
Eric W.
