This report covers a short week because no activities <br />occurred over the Labor Day weekend. The following information covers the time period from <br />September 2, 1997 -September 7, 1997. <br />General Construction Summary and Schedule <br />Excavation of Phase 1C and Phase 1D of the RPE and creation of structural fill via screening <br />operations continues. Pit run material is also being imported from off site and screened and <br />crushed to create additional structural fill. With the exception of the detention pond above the <br />Shaft #1 and #2 site, construction activities are in progress on all subtasks of the project. Work is <br />approximately 50% complete on the Shaft #3 site development and Electric Borehole road. MSE <br />Wall G (Block Wall) is approximately 40% complete. MSE wall F-1 and F-2 are approximately <br />65% complete with approximately 48 feet (maximum fill height) completed as of August 29. <br />Significant rain events that halted construction occurred on Thursday, September 4, and Saturday, <br />September 6. <br />Current Schedule <br />A gantt chart of the schedule and progress of general construction activities for the project is <br />attached.
