eci:Eic Limitations and Self-Monitoring Requirements
1. Effluent Limitations (Outfall 001)
Effective immediately and lasting through the life of
this permit, the quality of effluent discharged by the
facility shall, as a minimum, meet the limitations as
set forth below:

The p1H of the discharge shall not be less than 6.5 nor
great.=_r than 9.0 in any sample.
The concentration of oil and grease in any single sample
shall got exceed 10 mg/L nor shall there be any visible
sheen in the receiving water or adjoining shoreline.
There shall be no discharge of floating solids or visible
foam .in other than trace amounts.
Total Dissolved Solids will not have a limit, but will be
monitored.
There shall be no discharge of sanitary wastewaters from
toilets or related facilities.
No ch~emicala shall be added to the discharge unless
permission for the use of a specific chemical is granted by
the EPA. In granting the use of such chemicals, additional
limit•ationa and/or monitoring requirements may be imposed.
Bulk storage structures for petroleum products and other
chemicals shall have adequate protection so as to prevent
any reasonable loss of the material from enteiing discharged
waters or waters of the United States. Depending on the
amount of~ oil and oil products stored, the permittee may
need to prepare a Spill Prevention Control and
Countermeasures plan.
The permittee must notify the EPA if a discharge occurs from
the secondary gravel wash settling pond due tq decreased
infiltration capacity.
The permittee must notify the EPA of any future expansion of
mining and if the need for additional outfalls is created.
