Barna,
D,vision Dveaor
Rockcastle Coal Company has recently informed me that their lease with your
agency is coming due for renewal shortly, Our permit files indicate that the
only mining related disturbance which occurred on State land was limited to
construction of a haul road to Pit 4. This road is a permanent structure.
Therefore no additional work of any kind will be required of Rockcastle in
this section of the road. As far as the Division is concerned the road
segment has been adequately reclaimed to meet the post-mining land use.
Reclamation is therefore considered to be complete. Rockcastle wilt be
completing other reclamation obligations within their permitted mine site
later this year, None of these activities will be occurring on State land,
however .
If you have any questions please feel free to call,
Sincerely,
~C~~~
Susan J .
