Upon review of the
certificate, it was discovered that Enron is "self-insured" for
general liability. Unfortunately, I must inform you that the
Division cannot accept self-insurance. Although paragraph (4) of
the Rule states that the Division may accept self insurance
provided the applicant has satisfied applicable State or Federal
self-insurance requirements, the Rule references non-existent State
and Federal regulations. Therefore, the Division does not have the
authority to accept self-insurance.
To ensure compliance with Rule 2.03.9 of the Colorado Mined Land
Reclamation Board for Coal Mining, general liability should be
added to your insurance policy, and a certificate of insurance
submitted to the Division as soon as possible
If you have questions regarding this correspondence, please call me
at (303) 866-3567 X353.
Sincerely,
~. tea,.. ~. / ~..~;,p
Barbara L.
