Thank you for the information
regarding the 1990 construction of the NW-1 exhaust shaft by Wyoming Fuel Company.
We will discuss with the Golden Eagle Mine's current operator, Basin Resources, Inc., tomorrow if
they are aware from which rock stratum (or strata) water is entering the mine via the NW-1
exhaust shaft. We will also ask them whether they are aware which stratum your well was
drilled to, whether all or a portion of the water entering the airshaft is coming from the stratum
your well is completed in, and whether any method exists to ascertain this information if it is not
immediately available.
We will keep you informed of the status of our discussions with Basin Resources.
