A program called QuiclcView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on yom computer in order to use a DMG imaging CD rho first titm. Fuuue use of this w other imegmg CD's dos not requhe a new inamllatlan of the software. 2. The CD w DVD that you purchase mu be in the D: drive. A DVD drive will read a CD w DVD. 3. The CD wi0 contain files with the .tif extension. There needs to be an image viewing application fw .tlf files on your computer that will handle single and multi-page documeme. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs ere called "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer''' w "Paint" and they d~ not work with QuickView. The Itr ~gmg Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP wrapsten does work. DMG has determined that a program called "IrfanView", which cm be downloaded from L:fanView.tom, does work with QuickView. After downloading "IrfanViev/', it needs to be configured as your default .tif viewer. DMG does not smpport or endorse this software and the licensing and regieuation ere the mar's rt;epomstbility. Theta are many other programs that wont ae well, such as "Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". Inatruetlona• 1. Insert the CD inm yom wtttputer. 2. Allow lima fw the CD m install. 3. Eject the CD from the computer. 4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. 5. You are ready to view the Permit files. Crlr NOTE: A program called tlttickView Autonm, which tram the QuickVttsw setup program, has also been copied to this CD. if the Autoron program does NOT work, you will need to manmlly install the l2uickView program.
