_/'
STATE OF COLORADO
Roy Romer, Govei
DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES
MINED LAND RECLAMATION DIVISION
DAVID C. SHELTON, Director
August 14, 1987
Mr. Stamper Collins
Btue Horizon Mining, Inc:
3720 East 20th Street
Joplin; Missouri 64801
Re: Hawk's Nest Mines Transfer of Permit No. C-81-016
Dear Mr: Collins:
Attached please find the Division's Decision and Findings of Compliance
concerning your application for transfer of the Hawk's Nest East and West
Mines; Mining Permit No. C-81-016. Also attached is the signed Consent of
State for the transfer. Please sign both copies of the Transfer Application
and return the original application to us:
As you will see this approval decision document includes the repayment
agreement which you entered into with OSM. Therefore, the future good
standing of Mining Permit No. C-81-016 for the Hawk's Nest Mines is dependent
on the faithful execution of this agreement.
Currently the Hawk's Nest Mines are in temporary cessation: I am interested
in learning of your immediate and long term plans for the mines. I would
suggest that a meeting be arranged for me to meet your people who will be in
charge at the mine. I believe it is very important for your people to become
well acquainted with the requirements of your newly acquired permit and
Colorado's Regulations in order for us to continue to have a fruitful working
relationship.
If you have any questions please feel free to call.
Sincerely,
Susan J.
