<br />STIPUbATI0N5 <br />1) The operator will submit to the Division for staff approval a description <br />of the measures to be taken to contain cyanide solution from the vat <br />leach system in the event that a breach or leak occurs anywhere in the <br />vats or solution transport system (e.g., sump and containment berms). <br />This description will be submitted within 60 days of the permit date. <br />2) The operator will submit to the Division for staff analysis a chemical <br />analysis of the resdiues on the ore prior to deposition in the tailings <br />areas after the ore has passed through the rinse process. This <br />information will be used by the staff to evaluate the effectiveness of <br />the rinse process. Specifically, the components to be analyzed (in <br />milligrams/liter) are: sodium, total cyanide, free cyanide, hypochlorite, <br />sulfate (SOq), Cl and pH. This analysis will be submitted within 60 <br />days of the permit date. <br />3) The operator will submit a plan to the Division for staff approval of <br />a leak detection and backup system for the tailings areas. This plan <br />will be submitted within 60 days of the permit date. <br />
