OIYI(1b0 Of Mifleral6 8 Geology <br />1 would like your response. <br />I understand that a permit is not required if there is no mining in the ricer. The <br />river can be enter with a front end loader equipped with either track or rubber wheels for <br />the purpose of removing piles of gravel that are in the middle of the river. <br />I understand also the you will be making an inspection of the property Ittis week <br />And repon back to me the following <br />1) the area that f purpose to dump the gravel from the middle of the river is not <br />in a flood plane or a wet land area <br />2) how to handle the vertical drop in the river bed ai the upstream end of the <br />pit <br />3) how to reduce the slope of the river banks to conform to the 2 to l ratio <br />required ie: can a loader positioned on the river bank pull the gravel out of <br />the river to make the bank? <br />Lastly, I understand that before any work is done in the river Jam Bennen of the USGS at <br />2~7-110 vv~ll need to be notified <br />Sincerely <br />JoAnn Vota <br />PO Bo. 312 <br />Durango.
