The sediment pond is already in existence and has been
designed to contain the runoff from a 10-year, 24-hour precipitation event.
The emergency spillway is designed to safely pass the peak flow from a 25-year,
24-hour precipitation event. The principal spillway/dewatering device is a
trickle tube which allows for a retention time of 29 hours.
If you need Further information, please call me.
~i ncerely
J~m Nerron
Reclamation Specialist
JH/mt
