Banta, <br />Division Director <br />Volume 1, Section 2.05, pane 3 states that the Orchard Valley Mine was <br />protected to produce 1.0 to 1.5 million tons of coal per year. The <br />Orchard Valley West Mine was projected to produce 600,000 tons of coal <br />per year. <br />Based upon market conditions production at the Orchard Valley Project <br />could reach 2.5 million tons per year. <br />It is estimated that approximately 3.7 million tons of coal could be <br />recovered in the "life of mine" period. Additional reserves in the "D" <br />Seam were obtained with Federal Lease C-37210. <br />/bdc <br />2622E <br />
