This site has been evaluated to be not eligible to the State or
National Register of Historic Places since it is not in its original
location and additions have changed its character.
However, this pit is in an area that is likely to contain prehistoric
resources due to its location near the Cache I.a Poudre River. Therefore,
if the land has not been heavily disturbed, we recommend that a cultural
resource survey be undertaken to determine if eligible sites will be
affected by project activities. This is done in accordance with the
Colorado Register of Historic Places Act (24-80.1).
If we may be of further assistance please contact Jim Green at 866-4674.
Sincerely,
~. ~~
James E.
