I am in receipt of your FAX'd letter dated August 30. I have
researched the accusations and have discovered the following:
PARR 1.
According to Tim Hartley, owner/operator of the John Jay
Mine, he has not spoken to anyone regarding selling ore to
the Gold Hill Mill, and his specific comment was if ore was
being delivered to Gold Hill from the John Jay via Sunshine
Canyon, the driver was lost.
PARR 2.
It is unclear which "person who was in the mill"- informing
which "local individual" on the mills operations. We are
regularly inspected by the MLRD. Carl Mount and Bill York-
Fiern are well aware that we have been experimenting with the
process of water ph.
PARR 3.
Bob Mason has reported that recently Mark Steen asked him
about the ore that has been delivered to the mill, and Bob
informed Mark that it was Monzonite material.
Your presumption regarding the Tom Hendricks ore is
incorrect.
Our No. 2 ore bin does indeed contain the remainder of the
Bueno ore, and it will remain there until we are in full
production.
PARR 4.
The MLRD records could not show a completion of the Bueno ore
there is ore remaining and that has never been a secret to
anyone. If you remember, the suspension of production was
very abrupt.
Your conclusions, based on hearsay, are incorrect. COM, Inc.
has not imported any ore in the Gold Hill Mill. The only
material that has been delivered to and utilized at the mill
was done so under the provisions of TR-03. The appropriate
