It is our understanding that MCC will purchase
1000 tons of 1 %" roadbase material for the County's use on Minnesota Creek Road (Gunnison
County Road No. 710) from the County line to the corrals, approximately 6/1 Oths of mile, and
that the County will deliver the gravel via truck to the County's blade operator on or about April
15, 2002, weather permitting. MCC has made arrangements to stockpile the material at the Delta
Sand and Gravel pit in Paonia, CO. Delta Sand and Gravel also understands that they will be
required to load the material into the County's trucks for delivery. Further, as a result of our
conversations with John Morrell, MCC is requesting that the County apply half of the material
this spring and the other half this fall to account for traffic anticipated during MCC's drilling
activities this summer. Please let me know if you have any concerns or issues with these
arrangements with your department.
Please call if you have any questions.
Si ce ly, %~~~--G`~-
He arbe
Environmental Engineer
cc: Jim Burnell - CDMG
Phil Schmidt -MCC
John Morrell -District No. 4, Gunnison County Public Works
Susan Spear - USFS
Kathy Widner -MCC
