No.: COR-040208 <br />A. The stormwater permit was issued to the Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology. <br />The permit was issued for the purpose of completing reclamation operations at a portion of the <br />now inactive Coal Basin Mine. The operating pemut for the Coal Basin Mine was revoked by <br />the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board in 1992. Minerals and Geology is accomplishing <br />reclamation of the site with proceeds received via the bankruptcy plan filed by the former <br />permittee. Minerals and Geology is required by statute to accomplish reclamation of this site. <br />Reclamation construction within this stormwater permit area was completed by October 31, <br />2000. Reclamation consisted of deactivating twelve formerly permitted NPDES outfalls <br />previously utilized during mining operations. The Best Management Practices contemplated in <br />the Stormwater Management Plan were completed as construction progressed. Reclamation <br />accomplished and the Best Management Practices installed during the 2000 construction season <br />aze summazized here. <br />Pond Systems And Best Management Practices <br />As specified in the Stormwater Management Plan, reclamation of the following outfalls was <br />accomplished in 2000: <br />2 <br />
