<br />-13- <br /> <br />Pursuant to Rule "L.07.6(2)(e), the Division finds that the proposed <br />operation will not adversely affect any publicly owned park or place <br />listed on the National Register of Historic Places. <br />The revision application is in compliance with this section. <br />IV. <br />ion and Air Resources - Rules 2. <br />Climatological information for the proposed permit revision area is given <br />in Permit No. 79-177, Volume 1, Section 779.18. An air pollution control <br />plan is found in Section 2.05.6 of the permit revision application. The <br />climatological information and air resources information is adequate. <br />This section is in compliance. <br />V. Geology - Rules 2.04.5 and 2.04.6 <br />A description of the geology within the permit area is located in section <br />2.04.6, Volume 1 of the permit revision application. Additional <br />information is given in section 779.14, Volume 1 of Permit No. 79-177. <br />The Foidel Creek Mine Geology is shown on Map 7 and additional structural <br />information, as well as lithologic information is shown on the Foidel <br />Creek Mine Geologic Cross-Sections N and B, Map 8. A detailed <br />description of the geologic resources is given in the discussion of the <br />environment within this document. <br />The applicant has analyzed the geochemical characteristics of the roof, <br />floor and coal strata within the permit area. The results of this <br />analysis are presented in Table 13 of the permit revision application. <br />No acid-forming, toxic-forming or alkalinity-producing materials have <br />been identified. <br />The permit revision application is in compliance with Rules 2.04.5 and <br />2.04.6. <br />VI. Ground Water Information <br />The yround water information within the permit revision application is <br />found in section 2.04.7, Volume 1, Exhibits 7 and 10, Figures 3, 6 and 9, <br />Tables 5, 6, 8, 9, 10 and 11; and Map 9. Additional information is found <br />in Permit No. 79-177. <br />A description of ground water occurence, ground water monitoring and <br />mining impacts on ground water within the permit and adjacent areas can <br />be found in Section VIII, "Probable Hydrologic Consequences of Mining and <br />Cumulative Hydrologic Impact Study" of this document. <br />
