Therefon•e, we request approval for a change in WRN's monitoring
plan to include only the hvo stream gauging stations on Yellow Creek. The two
stations are know as Corral Gulch and Yellow Creek at White River. WRN
understands the value of all four gauging station for collection of regional data. In
the future if there is no other company required to participate in the Ryan Gulch and
Piceance Creek at White River stations, WRN will resume the responsibility for all
four stations, Section II of WRN's Monitoring Plan would be revised (as shown on
attached page 25), if this proposal is approved.
Also, per our discussion with your staff, WRN requested a Mine Plan change (see
attached pages 25 and 26) of Volume 5. The proposed change would be from
density to specific gravity once per shift or 2 per day, and bicarb production in
grams/liter from each cavity will be analysis 3 times per week.
If there are any questions contact me or WRN's Project Manager, Bob Warneke.
Sincerely,
~k~~z,~~
Ed Baker, REM
E/H/S Manager
cc: EPA
DMG
White giver tJaheollte Minerals, Llmltad Llablllty Company
P.
