<br />Thie is to inform you of the current status of the following gravel pit
<br />operations in Bent County.
<br />A1. M-83-177, Adams Pit, temporarily inactive, permit iaeued November 2, 1983,
<br />future plane to be used on roads in area of pit every 3-5 years.
<br />$2. M-83-178, Bent County Pit, active, permit lsaued November 2, 1983, future
<br />plans most active pit used in west end of county.
<br />p3. M-83-179, Etchart Pit, temporarily inactive, permit issued November 2, 1983,
<br />future plane are to use very little every 2 years for southern and of county
<br />for building roads.
<br />d4. M-83-180, US Army Corpe Pit, temporarily inactive, permit issued November 2,
<br />1983, future plans to be used in north part of county very little in the
<br />future, every 4-5 years.
<br />B5. M-83-181, Smartt Pit, active, permit issued November 2, 1983, future plena are
<br />to use on a regular basis as this is a drainage area, will be very active in
<br />the future.
<br />d6. M-83-182, Dean Pit, reclaimed, permit iaeued November 2, 1983, this pit was
<br />reclaimed November 7, 1989, by your division's Greg Squire.
<br />d7. M-83-183, Clodfelter pit, temporari~ QrQc~ve, permit iaeued November 2, 1983,
<br />future plans are to use this pit in {~~j thveat area roads very little, if
<br />any, in the next 3-5 years.
<br />O8. M-83-184, Hoffman Pit, active, permit iaeued January 26, 1984, future plena
<br />are very active for the east part of the county and regular use for the neat
<br />several years.
