Le al, Financial, Com liance Information - The Division finds that
t~f7Towing r~ion is inaccurate and needs to be updated to
reflect changes that have occurred over the past 3 years.
Specifically:
a. Kaiser Coal Company has acquired the Chimney Rock Coal Mine.
Appropriate legal, financial, and compliance information should
be provided for incorporation into the Chimney Rock Permit
Document, and a succession of operators applied for under Rule
2.08.6.
b. Kaiser Coal Company should update the compliance information for
the Chimney Rock Coai Mine.
c. Kaiser Coal Company needs to revise and update all copies of
their permit application on file with the Division to reflect all
submittals received by the Division after permit issuance;
including but not limited to revisions, responses to
stipulations, and revisions required by this 2 1/2 year review.
This material will include, but not be limited to text, maps,
figures and tables, and should be of a format which faci]itates
incorporation into the permit application as replacement pages,
appendicies, and replacement maps.
All material should be noted as revised and dated, and
incorporated by Kaiser Coal Company into the permit application
document.
2. Reclamation Plan - Kaiser Coal Company should provide the Division
wit an up ate tentative time table for the reclamation of the
Chimney Rock Mine.
Topsoil - To properly address concerns regarding topsoil, the
operator should provide to the Division calculations which show how
much topsoil is needed to finish reclaiming the disturbed area at the
mine site. The operator should also provide the Division with
calculations which show how much topsoil is currently available in
stockpiles at the mine site.
