The Division's approval of the proposed control plan is based on the submitted processing rate as <br />listed bebw. Prior to any increase in daily or annual processing rates, the applicant shall submit <br />a Revised Air Pollutant Emission Notice and Control Plan which will be subject to Division review <br />and approval to ensure compliance with the National Ambient Air Quality Standards for particulate <br />matter. Annual records of the actual processing rate shall be maintained by the applicant and <br />made available to the Division for inspection upon request. <br />Processing of ore shall not exceed 10,000 tons per day or 2,000,000 tons per year. <br />Note to Permit Holder: <br />•I ne to~~owing emissions of total suspa~sded par•.i„uls:as (T~~) a'' --+~^s:!ate matter of less than <br />. ,:_. _.. <br />ten microns (PM„) are estimated based on the production rates listed above. This source is subject to New Source Performance Standards requirements of Regulation No. 6, <br />Part A, Subpart LL, Standards of Performance for Metallic Mineral Processing Plants as follows: <br />a. Visible emissions shall not exceed 10% opacity. <br />In addition, the following requirements of Regulation No. 6, Part A, Subpart A, General Provisions, <br />aPPIY• <br />a. No article, machine, equipment or process shall be used to conceal an emission <br />which would otherwise constitute a violation of an applicable standard. Such <br />concealment includes, but is not limited to, the use of gaseous diluents to achieve <br />compliance with an opacity standard or with a standard which is based on the <br />concentration of a pollutant in the gases discharged to the atmosphere. (§ 60.12) <br />b. Written notification of construction and initial startup dates shall be submitted to <br />the Division as required under § 60.7. <br />c. Records of startups, shutdowns, and malfunctions shall be maintained, as required <br />under § 60.7. <br />d. Compliance with opacity standards shall be demonstrated according to § 60.1 1. <br />Ore shall be kept wet to control emissions of particulates from all of the process equipment except <br />the primary crusher. <br />5. The pneumatic foggers shall be used at all times to control particulate emissions from the primary <br />crusher. <br />23/5/2 <br />
