I have
recently learned, and have advised Randy Price, that several
other structures, clearly visible from Highway 12 are not
identified on the Basin Structure Inventory map.
Larry Bennett, with Basin, advised me that the mine has
not had any aer.iaJ. pictures taken in several years, and that
some property owners refuse to allow the mine personnel on
their property to inventory the structures. That being the
case, the mine is then required, by permit, to do whatever
is necessary to obtain accurate information. Admitting that
they realize their structure inventory map is not accurate
or may not be accurate because of the above, only indicates
to me that the mine continues to avoid their
responsibilities to comply with their permit - problem is
simyle - fly she u2rmittod area and f,le a^ ar~URP.TB map.
There is no excuse for missing the structures visible from
the highway!!!!
The obvious c:iscrepancies in this map are further proof
that Basin Resources:
a. isn't compiling with the rules and regulations;
b. isn't con,~erned with providing the state and federal
agencies with the required information; and further,
c. isn't concerned with the individuals residing within
the mines permitted area.
