GeoScience Services
2263 Kingston Road
Grand Junction, CO 81503
(970) 314-3356
In summary, present mining operations pose no substantial threat to the surrounding
water resources in the area. Even under an unrealistic worst-case scenario, leachate from
the waste piles does not reach the underlying groundwater. If the species of concern
exhibited zero sorption coefficients, particularly uranium, then there would be no
mineralized deposits in the area. Sorption is a critical component in the depositional
history of the mineralized deposits in the Uravan Mineral Belt.
Thank you for your time and consideration. Please feel free to contract me anytime
regarding any issues on my analysis.
Respectfully

Peter M.
