Commrs. of Weld Co. vs. The
Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board
District Court Weld County No. 30025
Dear Mr. David:
On June 3 we discussed the captioned action, which Weld
County filed in 1978. It was agreed that we should either
pursue resolution of the issues raised by that action or allow
the action to be dismissed.
When you have had a chance to discuss this matter with
the county commissioners, please call me so that we may de-
cide what we are going to do about this pending lawsuit.
As you know, I have been directed to file an action against
the county pursuant to 34-32-124(3), if necessary to enforce
the cease and desist order issued by the Mined Land Reclamation
Board some time ago. Please advise me of Weld County's po-
sition on compliance with the Board's order.
Thank you for your assistance.
Very truly yours,
LUC US E.
