The stone <br />colors at the near y vary from a li~hr Qray (anri least dense) stone <br />' (GSA Mock Color between very light gray ~~8 and light gray N7) at the <br />top of the quarry; to more yellowish color (GSA dock Color grayish, <br />oranee oink 5 Yd 7/2) in the middle: to a Dinkish color at the bottom <br />(GSA dock Color lieh[ brown erav 5 Yd 6/1). The auarrv was mined <br />oy cuttine from the mesa edge where the stones were exposed and down <br />in to the deposit.The resulting quarry configuration is a circular <br />depression about 100 feet in diameter and about 24 feet in depth.* <br />5.
