(permit ID C-010-81) is using this letter to confirm our
proposed overburden sampling program in the east panel. As discussed with you
in Denver on 6/6/84, Trapper will have a minimum of one deep drill hole core per
section for baseline data. When any element or parameter exceeds its normal
range of values an additional deep drill hole core will be obtained, giving ua
two cores per section. On recontoured spoil material, one shallow overburden
sample will be taken every five acres to a maximum depth of five feet. Addi-
tionally, analyses of these samples will depend on excessive concentrations in
the deep core hole sample. According to correspondence with you on 7/21/83 and
8/4/83, we will analyze for the following parameters in our deep core hole data
collection program: pH, EEC, NOg-N, K, Zn, Fe, Mn, Cu, Ca, Mg, Na, SAR, Se,
Cd, V, Mo, F, B, Pb, texture, and sulfur as X pyritic, % sulfate, and X
organic.
Beat regards,
B ~<.~
H.
