The time of completion allowed for the project has been changed
to 40 days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. This includes ten (10) days mobilization
time.
2. TASK 2-LINDEN AVENUE COAL LOADOUT. This task has been significantly modified. The
primary objective of Task 2 is to evenly grade the loadout so that drainage is away from the
railroad tracks, and revegetate disturbed non-coal areas parallel to the Baca ditch. After final
grade has been achieved, a portion of the coal and coal fines will remain on the loadout site
as the final graded surface. Coal fines and other imported rock (spoil) will be removed to a
depth sufficient to create a 1 percent grade away from the base of the railroad ties toward
the Baca Ditch for a distance of 50 feet ending in a shallow drainage Swale parallel to the
tracks and the Baca Ditch (See Cross Section 1). This grading will extend along the railroad
tracks for a distance of 950 feet. Spoil resulting from this grading operation will be disposed
of on the loadout area starting on the east side of the drainage Swale and extending toward
but not up to the Baca Ditch. Coal spoil will be placed on portions of the loadout currently
