The spoil bench is located <br />beyond the eastern limit of the slide and has shown no signs of movement either prior to <br />or since the October 8, 2006 event. <br />The coal reserve block is identified as the Task 6 Coal Reserve Block on the attached <br />map and the haulage corridor location east of the slide azea is shown as well. Within this <br />corridor, an appropriate haulage way for scrapers will be constructed and maintained. <br />Appropriate road widths and grades will be established. Surfacing materials and <br />protective berms will be utilized as necessary to provide a safe haul scenario for the <br />equipment utilized. This work will be done in daylight only with experienced operators <br />familiar with working around high walls and spoil roads. This area will be inspected <br />twice per shift while the work is on-going, Two means of egress will be maintained <br />during this operation in case operators needed to leave the azea upon short notice. <br />Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
