Box 5168
Denver CO 80217
Dear Mr. Robinson:
In approximately 1981 Harrison Western or its predecessors placed a six
inch plastic drain pipe from its sediment pond about twenty-five feet
onto the Vento Trust property in Fremont County. While there probably
is an easement by prescription, we would like to remove the pipe from
the Vento Trust property, and we are asking for permission to enter the
Vento Trust property for such removal.
The pipe was installed in a shallow trench within the coal spoil pile
which is the same spoil pile that we wrote about on Sept. 3, 1993. We
will remove the pipe and replace the coal spoil in the same condition as
it is presently.
We also hope that a decision on the coal spoil pile itself can be made
soon by the Vento Trust.
Sincerely,
W
W.D, Corley,
President
cc: Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology
