OF MINERALS <br />8 GEOLOGY <br />Attached for your files, please find Well Abandonment Reporcs for groumdwater monitoring wells ac <br />the Hayden Gulch Mine. The groundwater monitoring wells were abandoned to fulfill the <br />requirement of Exception No. 3 of the Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology's Phase II/Phase III <br />Bond Release Inspection Report, dated July 8, 1998. Groundwater monitoring wells LC-I/UC-I, LC- <br />2/UC-2, UC-3, LC-4, HG-1 and HG-2 were plugged and sealed October 5 - 7, 1998. The work was <br />completed by Himes Drilling Company, Inc. of Grand Junction, Colorado.
