Computer requirements to use the DRM3 document imaging CD (or DYD): _, 1, A program called tZuickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order to use a DAMS imaging CD the first time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not require a new installation of the software. 2. The CD m DVD that you purchase unu be in the D: drWe. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. 3. The CD will contain files with the .tif extension. There needs m be an image viewing application for .tif files on your computer that will handle single and multi-page documents. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programv are called "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer" oz "Paint" and they do ~t work with QuickYiew. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computers does work. DAMS has detemilned that a program called "ItfanView", which can be downloaded from IrfanView.com, does work with QuickView. After downloading "IrfanView", it needs to be configured as your default .tif viewer. DAMS does not support or endorse this software and rho licensing and registration are the user's responsibility. There are many other programs that work as well, such as "Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". Insfructloas: 1. Insert the CD into your computer. 2. Allow time for the CD to install. 3. Eject the CD from the computer. 4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. 5. You are ready to view the Permit Files. NOTE: A program called tZuickView Autonur, which ruav the QuickView setup program, has also been copied to this CD. If tbe Autotun program does NOT work, you will need to manually inaffill the QuickView program L3structions far manually installing QuickView are available upon request with the CD or can be viewed at www.minine.state.co.us.
