F..obin Forte is <br />pursuing this aspect. CMLRD and OSM have decided that a <br />Technical Revision (72 + days) of the Permit will be required to <br />include the Federal tract. OSM originally wanted a Permit <br />Revision (180 + days). <br />It will take some two to three weeks to assemble the <br />T ethnical Revision data, so it should be possible to acquire the <br />CMLRC/OSM approval before 3rd North reaches the Federal tract, if <br />its present rate of advance is maintained and if the surface <br />owners give their consent. <br />Incidentally, when we were researching the Federal ].eases we <br />discovered the following condition: <br />"S ection 17. EMPLOYMENT PRACTICES. <br />The lessee shall restrict the workday to not more <br />than eight hours in any one day for underground workers, <br />except in cases of emergency. ." <br />GW/ch <br />Distribution: <br />J.
