Revised Cavity Characterization Plan
American Soda presented a plan to determine the shape of the solution mining cavities being
developed at the Yankee Gulch Sodium Minerals Project in Rio Blanco County, Colorado to
the EPA, BLM and CDMG at a meeting held on December 1 b, 2003.
At the conclusion of that meeting it was determined that a revised Cavity Characterization
Plan would be developed by American Soda and presented to the agencies for review prior
to the next meeting which would be scheduled for mid February, 2004.
I have enclosed a copy of the revised plan for your review and will contact you or your staff to
schedule the next meeting.
