Long
Division Director
This letter is meant to confirm, for the District Court, that the Division and Harrison have
agreed in principle to settlement terms which, if accepted by the Mined Land Reclamation
Board, could result in the above-referenced suit being dismissed. The Agreement would
require Harrison to abandon the property in question while assuring the State that
sufficient reclamation funds are available. Subsequently, Harrison would be relieved of
further reclamation liability, including removal of the culvert.
Please contact Michael Long or me if you have questions or comments.
Sincerely,,,.;
i
L-+ i %~~
Steven- G.
