<br />Pursuant to Title 33, Article 34, Paragraph 3, of the Colorado Revised
<br />Statutes, the Mined Land Reclamation Division hereby issues notice that on May
<br />20, 1991, an application for renewal of a valid, existing permit to conduct
<br />coal mining operations, Permit No. C-80-001, by Pittsburg 8 Midway Mining Co.,
<br />6400 S. Fiddler's Green Circle, Englewood, CO 80111, was deemed complete for
<br />the purposes of filing. All reviews and comment periods as provided in the
<br />Act and Regulations promulgated thereunder initiate from this day of filing.
<br />The applicant proposes to continue conducting surface coal mining operations
<br />on portions of Sections 19, 20, 30, and 31, Township 5 North, Range 85 West,
<br />Section 36, Township 5 North, Range 86 West, Sections 12, 13, 14, 23, 24, and
<br />25, Township 4 North, Range 86 West, and Sections 7, 8, 17, 18, 19, 20, and
<br />30, Township 4 North, Range 85 West.
<br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle
<br />maps of Oak Creek, Cow Creek, and Rattlesnake Butte A copy of the
<br />application is available for public inspection at the Routt County Courthouse,
<br />522 Lincoln Box 773598, Steamboat Springs, CO. Written comments, objections
<br />or requests for an informal conference on the application may be submitted to,
<br />and additional information obtained from, the Mined Land Reclamation Division,
<br />Room 215, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado 80203, (3031 866-3567.
<br />Written comments, objections or requests for an informal conference must be
<br />filed at the Division by 5:00 p. m., within thirty days after the last public
<br />notice in the local newspaper.
