The water quality of <br />well number 3 historically has been affected by the presence of thE~ <br />unlined water treatment ponds, which are regulated by the Radiation <br />Control Division of the Colorado Department of Health. These unlined ponds <br />are no longer used in the water treatment process, and are being removed <br />at the present time. <br />Available data from the surface water monitoring plan are summarized in <br />Section 6.0 of Appendix E-4. <br />• <br />
