Page 2.05-10 has been modified to describe the sizing of Pond 004 and narrative information concerning the
use of the pond as a settling basin for drilling Fluids. The pond is considerably oversized at this point in tune.
3. SEDCAD+ modelling assumes tha[ there is a permanent pool to the elevation of the lowest dewatering orifice.
Basin is retaining the option to store a combination of sediment, drilling Fluids and other waters up to the
elevation of the lowest dewatering orifice, and committing to clean-out of the pond at 60% of the volume of
the pond below the dewatering orifice. The As-Built for Pond 004 submitted for TR-39 includes a sediment
clean-out elevation.
The duration of storage of drilling fluids in Pond 004 is discussed on page 2.05-10.
Please do not hesitate [o call if you should have any questions.
Sincerely,
//
Ralph Lop
Environmental Engineer
Basin Resources
Attachments:
MSDS Sheets
2.os-lo
,~, .. - .
