The proposed coal lease is generally north of <br />BRL's fee coal. The Federal Coal lease is necessary to extend the mineable reserve <br />base for the Bowie No. 2 Mine. The lease application area is referred to as the Iron <br />Point Tract. <br />Enclosed is an application for a technical revision to incorporate a small portion of the <br />Iron Point Tract into the permit area. The detailed mine plan (Map 14) was changed <br />only slightly to provide for mining throughout the five year permit term. The mine <br />workings encroach very little into the Federal Coal. <br />The following pages were revised for this technical revision application. <br />Pages <br />Description of Change <br />2.03-16 Revised right of entry discussion. <br />2.04-22 - 40 Complete revision of section 2.04.7 Hydrology Section. Added a <br /> discussion of the water resources which are adjacent to the new <br /> permit boundary and will be encompassed by the proposed <br /> Federal Coal lease. <br />2.05-1 - 2 Revised operation description to include Federal coal. <br />2.053 Changed the number of stock ponds from five to numerous. <br />
