<br />II. Other Licenses and Permits <br />1. "Have Mine Safety and Health Administration permits been sought or <br />received for the refuse piles?" <br />This currently only applies co the Lower Refuse Pile as no other refuse <br />areas are developed at this time. The necessary information has been filed <br />with M.S.H.A. for the Lower Refuse Pile. The information regarding this is <br />contained on page 68, Lower Refuse Pile Adequacy Response, Volume 12, Mt. <br />Gunnison No.l Mining and Reclamation Plan. <br />Information will be filed for the Upper Refuse Pile before refuse is placed <br />in the pile. <br />2. "Federal and State approval for Huntington Canyon No. 4 Mine was <br />expected Sanuary 1, 1985. Have these approvals been granted?" <br />The Federal and State approval was granted in April, 1985. This permit was <br />revised in process for reclamation only and the No. 4 mine has been <br />reclaimed. <br />3. "What does "DOC" mean in reference to the Gordon Creek Nos. 3 and 6 <br />Mine on page 1-67?" <br />• DOC stands for determination of completeness. ThaC was the status of the <br />permit at the time, comp lateness was being determined. <br />• <br />II-1 <br />
