State Parks intends to leave the existing fence along
the east, north, and west sides of the property for sometime. This will offer protection to
our seeding efforts. There is some rabbit brush on the property, which we would like to
leave undisturbed if it's OK with State Parks. United Companies will cooperate and
work with State Parks as to the extent of reseeding especially on the south side of the
property so we don't needlessly reseed the concrete pathway area.
Also as a condition of the land donation United Companies will be allowed access to a
small portioll of the north shoreline for a possible water truck loading point. We've not
chosen a location yet but this small area will be fenced with a locked gate once it's in
place. United Companies has a Water Pump Easement agreement showing permission
and conditions for this pump location. I'm enclosing a copy of the well permit for this
property. It does not currently include water truck loading. I'm going to check and see if
I can amend the well permit to include this water truck use.
United Companies is planning on reseeding this area in the next few weeks weather
permitting. We will use W. D. Yards to prepare the area and do the seeding. Before any
work starts State Parks, United Companies, and W. D. Yards will agree on the best plan
for the reseeding.
