I have enclosed some pages of a recent technical revision submitted
by Mr. Jim Stover. The revision review mainly concerns the
discussion of the 1992 vegetation report; Appendix 3-W and pages 4-
19, 4-19i,ii,and iii.
Mr. Stover is asserting that the calculations on pages 4-19i-iii
"demonstrate that the runoff from the reclaimed areas does not
contribute additional suspended solids above natural conditions."
And, therefore no sediment control measures such as ditches, berms,
ponds, etc. need to be maintained.
Your job, should you choose to accept it, is to prove or disprove
this assertion. Remember, the future of the mine site may depend
on your ability to crunch numbers.
