Walther <br />Eaecunve Director <br />Michael B. LOnq <br />Division Dneclor <br />Per the discussion between the Division of Minerals and Geology (DMG) and Pathfinder <br />Development, Inc. (Pathfinder) held by phone on August 16, 2000, the Formal Public Hearing <br />scheduled for the August meeting of the Mined Land Reclamation Board (Board) has been <br />continued to September. This hearing is scheduled to consider Pathfinder's failure to comply with <br />the corrective action for Problem No. 2 listed in inspection report for the November 12, 1999 <br />inspection of the Pathfinder Pit. <br />Rescheduling of this hearing is required because the original notice of this hearing has apparently <br />been lost in the mail system. Therefore, adequate notice of the hearing (30 days) was not timely <br />provided to Pathfinder. Notice was verified received by Pathfinder on August 9, 2000. The <br />hearing will take place during the monthly meeting of the Board to be held on September 20-21, <br />2000 in Room 318 of 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado beginning at 9:00 a.m. or as soon <br />thereafter as the matter can be considered. At that hearing you will have the opportunity to be <br />represented and heard.
